What Are You Doing About Your Situation?
"...Whatsoever He Doeth Shall Prosper" - Psalm 1:3
Are you the type that wakes up in the morning and you have nothing to do or you are waiting to be told what to do. Are you the one who keeps planning but never implements, Are you the one who says I will do this when I have all the right ingredients.
The ACT of doing something opens the door to prosper. Whatever you do will prosper not what you think about and just leave it lying there. Ideas have been snatched and taken up by serious people who see the bigger picture.
As you arise this morning, Is it something you wanted to blog about, Is it an improvement in your business or ministry that you want to do, Is it a new painting you want to put in your house, Is it growing food within your compound. We cannot be complacent anymore.
Serious people get serious results.
This is what the Bible says in Psalm 1:3
"And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."
Also remember that God blesses the works of our hands. Use everything God has given you and DO SOMETHING, Be visionary and start small, learn from the processes, research and implement, don't just sit back.
Choose what kind of Tree you want to be by
1. Re-positioning yourself to a source that brings life (River)
2. Purpose to bear FRUIT in all you do
3. Avoid being the type withers because whatever doesn't bring fruit is cut off
It’s is ironic how we are inclined to comfort, we
normally want things the easy way and technology has done a great deal to bring
comfort to people. While listening to a gentleman talk at a recent event, he
mentioned something that gripped my heart and has stuck, he called it the rule
of life and I thought I could share a few personal insights from this quote. “Do
the easy and comfortable and life will be difficult, do the difficult and
uncomfortable and life will be easier”When it comes to matters of personal finance,
sometimes we will be excused for being young and naive because in most instances
we either weren’t taught or we just put good advice away by saying "I will do this when I am earning this much" or "I will do this when I grow" etc. When we are young (age, physically, emotionally), we
are bound to make a lot of mistakes like buying out of impulse, desiring to
have the latest trends of things which in simple terms just enslave us. However
I want to bring …
Discipline yourself through the PAIN (Hebrew 12:11)
No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening - it's painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way. When a seed is buried in the grown, it first has to die before it can germinate, then it has to grow, for it to grow, it has to be cared for, fertilized, pruned and given the best care, so that after so many weeks, days, months or years, its purpose for planting is eventually realized, is it electricity poles, furniture etc that you want, it will take patience and courage to wait, while you take care of it. Your faith and desire to cut will be tested, but if you wait a little longer, you end up appreciating because you are looking more at the END result (Future) than at the satisfaction of the moment. I have had time to listen to people especially when we start talking about money, money touches everyone's heart. Personally I have had to go through and continue to …
Proverbs 21:20 (NLT) – The WISE have WEALTH and LUXURY, but FOOLS spend whatever they get. Are you the type who spends whatever you get, you might have to just check through your life and examine the things that actually make all your money go away and puts you in a place to keep borrowing, are a consumer or an investor, is your appetite for spending great or are you a person who surrounds him or herself with those who are spend thrifts? You could be eating your future a way by the decisions you are making right now - every decision has a consequence. Indeed our lifestyles really dictate our personal finance. One of the things that we all need to agree on is that we have a large appetite for many things. You find someone having 10 fleets of cars, yet you can only drive one at a time, having 5 smart phones, yet you can only use one a time, having 100 pairs of shoes yet you can only put on one at time, in fact we have a lot of things that we have spent on that are not being used. Everythi…
